Would you like to pasture kidney stone at home?  You’re not alone.  Thousands of people are searching every day for natural health advice regarding kidney stone pain and passage of kidney stones.  Unfortunately, western doctors do not have much to say about how to flush kidney stones painlessly. Better yet, wouldn’t it be great to figure out how to avoid kidney stones?

Patients are usually told to drink water to pass kidney stones.  For stones smaller than 5MM of this may be effective.  However, stalls larger than 5mm may require changes to diet, vitamins, supplements, or other home remedies.

Natural remedies for kidney stones are nothing new.  People have been aware of them for centuries.  It is only in the past few decades that natural remedies have begun to be researched.  Many natural remedies have proven to work for kidney stones sufferers.

Most western doctors do not deal much with a holistic or natural help.  In their minds natural help is taboo.  However, natural health remedies continue to grow at an amazing rate as researchers uncover the benefits of natural remedies.

We will look at four natural remedies that assist with passing kidney stones.  Before you try these remedies, and discuss them with your medical professional.  It is up to you and your doctor to determine the status of your health situation.

Consider a plan to supplement magnesium to your diet daily. Try to add about 350mg daily.  This dosage has been found to eliminate kidney stones in most patients.  Over the past 40 years the effects of magnesium on kidney stones has been researched and the conclusion has been consistent.  Magnesium appears to help rid the body of kidney stones.

You should also avoid foods and snacks high in sugar.  This includes soft drinks and juices that are high in sugar.  Sugar has been linked to the development of kidney stones and should be avoided until your stones pass.

Drink vegetable and fruit juice in addition to water.  Include carrot, grape, and orange juice in your diet.  These fruit and vegetable juices contain high levels of citrates.  Citrates help reduce the buildup of uric acid and calcium salts in your kidneys.  Including citrates in your diet will, thus, help eliminate the cause of kidney stones.

Lastly, eat foods, such as asparagus, wheat grass, and fresh parsley that are high in chlorophyll.   High levels of chlorophyll have been proven to cleanse the kidneys and help eliminate kidney stones.
